About Me

Chad Hurd was born in the backwoods of Maine and grew up on a healthy diet of cartoons and action figures which ultimately led to where he is now. He is a Graduate of the University of Maine where he received his degree in Art Education. 

Other than drawing, Chad can be found spending time with friends and family, reading the latest issue of Invincible or Naruto, vigorously pummeling goombas on the Wii, or giving the evil eye to loud popcorn chewers at the movies.

While his great love is comic books, Chad lends his artistic skills to a variety of different media, including children’s books, animation, character design, logos, business cards, magazine spot illustration, sketch cards, t-shirt design, storyboards and political cartoons.

Currently Chad is battling the awesome heat of Atlanta working as Lead Character Designer on FX's upcoming cartoon ARCHER.
